Levis Commons Art Fair - "The Levis Commons Fine Art Fair will return to The Town Center on Saturday, August 26 and Sunday, August 27, 2006. This year's event will feature 140 artists showcasing jewelry, ceramics, paintings and more and will run from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. In addition to artwork, the fair will offer live musical entertainment throughout the day and a children’s art activity area known as the Imagination Station."
"The Imagination Station, which is being coordinated by the Perrysburg Area Arts Council, will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days and will offer a variety of family friendly activities with a back-to-school theme. The Imagination Station will also house a community mosaic picture for kids to replicate and build on, as well as the Perrysburg Fire Department’s interactive snoopy house."

Just got back. we got there just as they were opening, and an hour later, it was hard to move in the parking lot. Beautiful stuff, especially the metalwork and dichromic glass.
Wonderful exhibit by an astrophotographer, I was awestruck...he needs more room! we talked to him because I had to know if a picture of the Hale-Bopp comet UNDER the arch in Utah was a composite and it's not....amazing. I don't doubt he's the best photograher of space in the world.
Worth the walk-thru, now that the weather is clearing....I hope they didn't get what we got in ETol, that would suck.

My wife and I arrived at the LC art fair at 10:45 this morning, which was before the official open, but the artists were up and running. We left around 3:30, and the most it rained while we were there was a very fine, barely noticable mist.
It was an enjoyable art show. We made several purchases, gifts for family members, and we also had a nice lunch at the Bluepoint Fish Club.

I think I see myself in one of those pics jr. I love these events. Have to admit, I'm a sucker for landscape paintings. But I'm really getting into photography now...
