Toledo Police Investigate Gang Violence After Fireworks - WTOL reports that shortly after the fireworks, Toledo Police say they responded to a shooting at Cherry and Seneca. Then a second shooting happened a short time later at Lagrange and Central. Police are also investigating the report of several assaults at International Park that were blamed on gang members.

yup, the gang bangers were out in full force. When my wife and I were walking back we saw a whole group of kids in blue (are they still crips?) who started talking shit to some guy in his car. They were whoopin "West side" and naming streets they came from. I heard a couple of them say things like "We should get him.." "If we drag him out of his car right now...".

Anyway, I am not captian gang banger and fifteen kids in blue doesn't always signify a gang, but that was my judgement.

My family and I also seen that same group down by the fireworks running toward the fireworks then back the other way! I did not want to call them gang members because I did not know for sure but... I sure the heck knew there was no track team running through the park that late on the 4th! And they almost ran down my grand daughter. And to be honest I did not see one police officer anywhere! They need to get after the parents of these out of control teens.

Jult 4th sounds like the perfect time to "pop some caps" and not cause any alarm in the area, if you know what I'm sayin'.

At any rate, let's get Robert Jobe's mother out there on patrol in such circumstances. She could use a few pointers on oversight of teens, so a little on-the-job training should do the trick.
