Cars blamed for obesity - Well, why not? Absurdity shadows most news stories about obesity. Move over Cable TV and doughnuts, cars are the current trendy cause of obesity. The Motor City is America's fattest city. "This just may be the moment when we acknowledge the culprit in the battle of the bulge has more than a giant maw. It has four wheels. The Detroit Moment must delight the public health gurus [freaks] who agree the car is a major ingredient in the incredible growing American, on an enemies list right beside Big Macs. We could slap warning labels on cars saying: This Vehicle Will Make You Fat." I guess SUVs are off the hook. I'm not sure, but I think this was actually a serious column.
