Driving makes us fat - Cars were blamed for obesity earlier this year. Now comes this ... "The survey of 10,500 metro Atlanta residents found that for every extra 30 minutes commuters drove each day, they had a 3 percent greater chance of being obese than their peers who drove less." It was a $4 million study. All of this hubbub for a mere 3 percent. Probably doing just about anything will increase your chances of being obese by 3 percent.
