New version of Toledo Talk

When Lima prison closes, people in Toledo could lose jobs - It's union "stuff".
"Less than three years after Gov. Bob Taft called the 403 jobs created at the new Toledo Correctional Institution "recession-proof," 136 of those employees are in jeopardy of losing theirs, according to members of the employees union at the Toledo facility. Last month, the governor ordered the 490-employee Lima Correctional Institution closed as part of an effort to eliminate a projected $4 billion deficit in the next biennial budget." People with seniority at the Lima prison could take jobs away from Toledo.
