No Big Surprise - Ludeman Throws Support To Carty - WTOL is reporting that Republican Rob Ludeman has pledged his support to the Finkbeiner campaign.
Which way will Wilkowski go? Crawling back to the A team, or joining Carty in an anybody-but-Jack festival?

That is certainly the question of the day. If the goes back to the "A" team, he looks like a total hypocrite. My guess is he stays out of it to prepare for 2009.
I certainly felt the worst for him because he probably wanted it the most. I received mail from him 3 days in a row and phone calls 2 days in a row.

Keith's best bet is to not support either.
Hopefully he's smart enough to figure that out.
Endorsing Carty would sever what was left of his A team connections, endorsing Jack would make him look like a hypocrite for running against him.

Keith said on the radio last week that he will not publicly endorse either candidate.

Thanks for the update, jr. I missed that one.
I agree with lloyd that Wilkowski staying quiet now keeps him in the running for 2009.
I also think Sarantou will put up a legitimate campaign in 2009 as well.

I believe someone said it is a 'no brainer'...! Carty will win, no doubt. I do believe that the more people who let it be known they are unhappy with Jack Ford, the better for our City. Maybe it will point the new mayor in the opposite direction. I never, ever, ever, ever...thought I would vote for Carty Finkbeiner, I would have voted for Keith or Rob. Both are class acts. But now I will vote for Carty and hope and pray he will pull Toledo together. Even his obnoxious mouth is better than no mouth at all. Jack Ford has said more in the past few weeks than he has said in the last 4 years and only because his movers and shakers are telling him what everyone has been trying to tell him all along and that is to act like he is alive. As if he likes what he has been doing and to pretend, if necessary, that he is excited about Toledo. It is a little bit, a lot too late though for this voter. Carty is the only one who can dig us out of this mammoth hole. I hope Rob will stick close to Carty and hopefully set his sights on the mayoral election in 4 yrs.

Read my comments on the 'primary election results' thread concerning Carty. I've only voted for him once before in my life-but this Nov. will be the 2nd time. Why? You'll find my reasoning for this on that thread.
