State of the Sate? More taxes, cost-cutting - "Bob Taft yesterday proposed targeting smokers, drinkers, and drivers for more cash to balance the state's books and improve roads." There's a $720 million deficit. Other ideas include closing a prison or two, overhauling Medicaid, draining the rainy-day fund.
