Mich. 7th District GOP primary - This congressional primary in southern Michigan between Congressman Joe Schwarz and Tim Walberg is really heating up.
The airwaves in Lenawee and Hillsdale counties are filled with tv and radio ads from Schwarz, Walberg and their out-of-state supporters.
Jack Lessenberry, the Toledo Blade ombudsmen, favors Schwarz because he leans a little more toward Jack's lefty views.

Lowering the political shields. Allowing this post and the next one to appear on the front page goes against current guidelines, but we'll test the waters. The two postings seem harmless.

Isn't that like sailing 'smooth sailing'? :-)
My sister is in Adrian and she said that this is a hot campaign. Lots of tv etc.

Oh, yeah. With my Star Trek lowering the shields comment, I shouldn't have used "waters." Maybe I should have said, "We'll test the neutral zone."

I've been checking in - this is my hometown area sort of :-) Prior to Columbus.
It's nasty alright. Maybe they should change the name of that blog though - it seems to be focused singularly on this battle.
