New version of Toledo Talk

Local Students Make Human Events Top 10 List - Dan Lipian of BG and Jeff Wiggins of Michigan State both made the most recent Human Events (Ronald Reagan's favorite paper) top ten list, "Top 10 Campus Conservative Activists".

We are constantly reminded of the "courage" of those who "speak out". But those outspoken people are typically entertainers and that which is outspoken is always a solicitation of "progressive" ideas. The "courage" comes from the implication that somehow those speaking out will face persecution (while, ironically, they are being promoted and lionized via mass media).

I think we all know how much "courage" it takes for an actor to be liberal in Hollywood. But I'll tell you what - if you want to see courage, consider a couple of kids publicly standing up for conservatism on a college campus.

As far as I know, no local news organization covered this national recognition. Good work Dan and Jeff, keep the faith.
