Cell phones disruptive in class - Have you ever noticed that someone talking on a cell phone is speaking much louder than anyone else? "Is it possible that cell phones, a source of communication, are actually contributing to a lack of communication? Students may be too engaged in personal phone conversations on campus to know or care what is going on around them. But often, the time when cell phones are the biggest distraction is during classes."
