Vote "Not Sure" - I read the Blade on-line. I read the polls they post at the bottom of the page every day. Why is it that soooo many people vote "Not Sure." How in the hell can you not have an opinion on such simple questions. For example, today's question:
"The vote to withdraw troops from Iraq fell short after an all-night Senate debate. Would you have supported or opposed this bill?"
More than 5-percent of people voted "Not Sure." What's up with that????? That has to account for at least a couple hundred people.
I have been told time after time throughout my life "if you can't beat them, join them." So as a tribute to the unopinionated (not to mention an opportunity to screw with the Blade) I urge everyone to vote, "NOT SURE."
On this opinion driven website... I urge you to have NO OPINION. Again, vote Not Sure!!!
Maybe we can get a "Not Sure" catagory on the next presidential ballot.

Just my opinion but I would probably put "Not sure" unless I had read the bill in it's entirety.
What if the bill said "ok we'll withdraw our troops" then on page 924 in small print "btw we're going to tax you 50% annually for a new Save the Yogurt tax"
Let alone the actual method of withdrawal.
While this sounds silly it happens all the time. You have one bill and some section completely irrelevant that's added as a last minute push to get it squeaked in.
For the overall question however. There has been A LOT of debate over whether or not to keep fighting or come back home. One of the things that has changed my mind is something my history teacher told my in HS.
One of the big reasons Germany became so powerful, is because after WWI they were so weak that anybody could cease control. Iraq is in a similiar position. We fought the bad guy and now the country is in ruins. If we leave someone worse that was there before could easily take over the country and we'd be left with a bigger war to fight later on *cough Iran*.
So while I don't agree with the war as it was started, you have to look at the big picture and see what is really better for us, them and world stability.
Hope I didn't steer the topic in the wrong direction, if so I'm sorry.

I'm not sure. I'm just an ignorant rube from Ohio like the rest of us. Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Bill Kristol, These guys are probably more versed and experienced with that region than most anyone in the Western world and they still managed to do every single thing 100% wrong at every turn. How can anyone be sure?

Not sure is no big deal, especially when it's 5%. Maybe they didn't want to answer or wanted to maintain their privacy.
What about the people who will approve of holders of offices because they hold that office?
I think 20% will approve of the mayor of (insert city here) because he/she/it is mayor of that city. So right there should be a 20% discrepancy against the free thinking population (not me).
