I am a historian, writer, and editor who is trying to make enough money from the three to feed, clothe, shelter, and entertain a house full of kids. I am currently working on my PhD in history, and recently received a University fellowship that underwrites my research.
I also have a website called Toledo Perspectives that showcases my amateur photography and more local thoughts (plus some pesky ads).
This forum allows me to read and post thoughts about a wide variety of issues and perspectives. It is, on most days, the best local blog, and a number of well-read individuals post here.
When not working or venting, I enjoy playing guitar, hanging out with my kids, and plotting world domination.
