More evidence of steroids in baseball - 1988 to 2004 is known as the 'Roid Era' in Major League Baseball. A newspaper report says Mark McGwire used steroids. Tell us something we don't know. What a yawner. People want to see home runs, and I'd bet most baseball fans don't care that players use steroids. As to the records, fans will apply their own asterisks even if MLB commissioner Bud Selig chooses not to. At the baseball hall of fame, they'll have to add the chemical lab and syringe wing sponsored by BALCO for players from the roid era.
