A lake effect snow warning remains in effect until 10 am EDT
Sunday.
Lake snows have become more organized again this evening across
the Tug Hill and central Oswego County. Additional accumulations
of 4 to 8 inches are possible in areas of most persistent snow.
The activity should move south of the region Sunday morning.
Storm total accumulations since Wednesday night will range from
2 to 3 feet where the lake effect snows persist the longest...
with the highest accumulations expected across the Tug Hill
plateau.
In lake effect snow the weather can vary from locally heavy snow
in narrow bands to clear skies just a few miles away. If you will
be traveling across the region be prepared for rapid changes in
Road and visibility conditions. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio
and other radio and TV stations for further details or updates.
