Instead we throw them away, excess from fertility clinics. The church and state never objected to them being discarded, they still don't. They only object to them being used to save human lives.

Guess I should of read the article, so its only found in embryonic stem cells, OK. So should we make a bunch of embryos just so we can destroy them? Huge warehouses where they are grown in football field length conveyor belts covered in Petri dishes? Maybe we should let them grow to a size where they have a visible head before we kill them? Imagine the amount of that protein that would be required to really treat everyone with cancer.Think that can be reproduced in quantities only using discarded embryos? Thats the future I can see if we head down that road. They need to find a way to make adult stem cells work and quit worrying about embryos. Oh and by the way, just how did they find this information about the proteins if they weren't doing embryonic stem cell research in the first place. As I said earlier, its not that they cant do it, its that the goverment wont give them money for that research.

Fertility clinics have been dumping these microscopic fertilized eggs into the rubbish for decades. The fertility clinic takes more eggs than it needs, because they don't always take hold and grow. It costs 10 or 15 grand to go back inside to get more eggs. So they take a number they figure will suffice. Sometimes its too many. They have been throwing them in the garbage for decades. During that time, no pope or politician piece of shit said a word, not one word about the morality of it. They only opposed when the baptista idiots and catholic dolt sheep let their leaders pull the wool over their eyes. They continue to throw them away.
Why doesn't bush care about you living longer via ESC cells. Same reason he's against universal health care. He doesn't give a flying frog about you or your family. Besides, his pal Cheney has probably already been to London, or China, or India , to get some stem cell derived cardiomycytes injected into the dead walls of his darth vader life pump. It was a political issue for Bush and Cheney too, they were content to let it be until the right reverend homos and child molestors promised to deliver the vote for them in the elections. In return Bush has fully destroyed the last bit of church and state separation we have. We are now a talliban state like Saudi dickheads who just executed a baby. Millions of Americans have died due to bush's delay in funding. Its about curing disease, AND about money. Its tough to do one without the other when you talk about medicine. Perpetual treatment sounds more business friendly than a permanent cure.
Maybe labeling all the potential carcinogens in everything we might naively believe is safe is a way to spark some curiosity into this health care craze.
But w/o added carcinogens red meat would look grey, cigarettes wouldn't be as bad, etc. blah blah etc.

Why are they still crying about embryonic stem cells. Cant they just move on to adult stem cells already. They can study all the embryonic ones that they want, the goverment just wont fund their studies. So it comes down to money. Just like the global warming nut jobs, they are looking for grant money, if there isn't something to study they wont get paid. It just comes down to scare tactics to get federal funds.
