2008 Fly Fishing Film Tour coming to Maumee

Yes fly fish anywhere there are fish. Big misconception about the sport is that fly fisherman only fish for trout. But we fish all year long for just about anything. In in a couple weeks the Steelhead start running in Eastern Ohio rivers. On the local rivers mostly for White bass after the walleye run and small mouth in the summer. Then trips up into northern Michigan for Trout until the fall.

Do people fly fish around here?
In the Maumee or Ottawa?
I can't fish without gloves and high pitched squealing, but I always thought about wading in the Maumee come wading season in a suit and tie to look professional and not an amateur. Or I'd just anchor a kayak to look like a yachstman.
