I think we might get a break with the weather, so on Sunday March 30, 2008, let's have a pick up game at 1pm. At Woodrow Wilson Park. The address is 600 E Oakland Street Toledo 43608. It's pretty easy to find and it has 2 places we could play. One looks like it is set up for street hockey but might be a little small, and the other is a fenced in tennis court. There are two courts side by side so we'll have to watch out for the poles, but for a first pick up game, we should be ok.
This is a street hockey pickup game. No checking, no skates. I recommend shin pads and gloves as a minimum. Should have elbow pads and helmets. We'll be playing with a street hockey ball. If you want to bring a net, ball, or extra equipment please do. I should have my goalie equipment so we'll have at least one goalie. If more than 2 show up we'll rotate just like the forwards and defensemen. Everybody that shows up will play. Ideally we'll have enough to make 3 scrimmage teams to rotate playing time.
If the weather looks bad I'll post a cancellation by Saturday the 29. Help spread the word. Even if you've never played before but are interested, show up. I know I'm rusty so I won't be at my best.

PS-If you can, bring two shirts, one dark, one light. It helps when we break up into teams if we can all be somewhat the same color.
