24 Hour Greasy Spoons?

My friends and I were looking to get a late night cup of coffee and breakfast. Anyone know of any 24 hr greasy spoons open in the area other than....

Freeway
IHop
Dennys
Waffle House
Steak n Shake
White Tower
and the I-280/turnpike truckstops

Not looking for something drive thru. Just something the girls and sit and gossip about family and life. And in Toledo. Someone mentioned Sonic opened in BG, any truth to this? I'd travel there just to check it out, but prefer to stay in the Toledo area.

Thanks for your help,
Angie

Central Hotdog on Front St. has great food. It's small and the clientle are sometimes less than desirable, but overall it's a nice little place. There's another place the HI-Level Cafe. It's at the base of the Hi-Level bridge on the south end side, there food is pretty good to.

I havent been to the high-level cafe in some time, but they had incredible biscuts and gravy.

The Frisch's Big Boys are open 24/7.

Thanks I had forgotten those but they are off the list too. Been there one to many times. And there are only a few Big Boys around that are open 24hrs. I really need to be in the mood for their Bigboy, they're yummy but not something I can go for a few nights a week. I know there are other things but nothing beats that sandwich on their menu.(for me at least)

Anyone know if Ideal on Alexis is open 24hrs? I love their Chili Mac.

I try to avoid the High Level cafe as its my parents hangout. I think it should be their place of solace from their kids. So I only go there once in a blue moon.

Just looking for a new place to throw in to the mix and try to break up seeing the same drunk/non drunk faces every night.

I don't know for certain that its open 24 hours, but the Sunrise Diner on Lewis near Laskey is open very late. I've been in there at 3 am after the bar.

ToledoLatina, try a panini maker and host it at someone's home? Its safer (being at someones home rather than out and about), and may be tastier. Personally, my favorite panini is: salami, pepeeroni, provalone, mozerella, onions, and tomatoes and house italian salad dressing on thick italian bread, or even a hoagie. mmmmmmmmm. (just an idea 4u :-)

Freeway on Navarre and Central Hotdog (Georges's) on Front St. Two old east side haunts, with pretty darn good food.

"High Level cafe" I wouldn't take a dog there to eat, I stopped there once and you could cut the damed cigarrette smoke to a knife!!

I make panini at home for my own children for dinner. Us girls just go out at night after we make sure the kids are in bed and the fathers/sitters have nothing to complain/nothing to do except have sleeping kids.

As for Freeway that was the regular hangout and we would throw a few other spots in to the mix ever now and then but are looking for other places. Been to Central Hotdog and its just way to cramped in there and to many sly characters there and around the area(Day or night)

I do have to admit, the 'High Level Cafe' doesn't allow smoking inside. Nor does Freeway. So no complaints about that.

I just guess there really isn't any other new spots to try after midnight.

As mentioned, Central Hotdog has pretty good grub. Meatloaf and baked chicken and mashed potaters and garlic bread. Comfort food. Not the classiest clientele, but you're going for the food.

Just saw White Tower mentioned. I think there's only one remaining, on W. Sylvania. Used to be about 10 around here.
