Why No Trouble in Iowa?

Does anyone know why there has been no looting, shootings, etc. in Iowa, and no public outrage, either? No Sean Penn, no Dixie Chicks complaining, no massive military assistance doing the clean-up for the citizens, either. I guess these folks get no sympathy, from anyone.

And the first state with the guts to take their smoking ban to the Supreme Court - got about 9 other states on board so far - getting in touch with the rest - the restaurant & bar associations across the country, to argue the rights of private business owners. Good for Iowa.

"Does anyone know why there has been no looting, shootings, etc. in Iowa, and no public outrage, either?"

You mean like compared to the mayhem and crap that went down in a few areas after Hurricane Katrina?

Hmmm....... What might be the differences?

And, there has been no upsurge in sales of "Girls Gone Wild" videos as far as I know

Gee, it's a real head-scratcher, I tell ya.

Compare the demographics, then subtract the completely worthless Nagin and Blanco.

Voila! - neighbors helping neighbors, instead of welfare pimps failing to evacuate/prepare then crying about the speed of the FEDERAL government's assistance.

Where was the state?

How 'bout those unused buses, Mr. "Chocolate City" Nagin?

Are the Feds confiscating weapons in Iowa like they did in NOLA?

"

The Feds had nothing to do with that, it was local officials.

Iowa also isn't the correct demographic for manufactured outrage from the left and the media.

If it was N.O. again you bet your sweet bippy Obamamessiah would be down there, milking it for everything he could.

Well, Hell's bells! I was wrong:

http://www.gunowners.org/no02.htm

"While there were many officers who acted honorably -- even apprehending dangerous thugs while grieving the loss of their own family members -- most residents were forced to fend for themselves.

Many did so successfully, using their own firearms, until New Orleans Police Commissioner Edwin Compass III issued the order to confiscate their guns."

Maybe Iowans do not realize that it was actually George Bush who "blew up the levies" that held back the flooding rivers...

LOL.....

To think some people actually believe George Bush purposefully had the levies blown up....

We are becoming a nation of whiners, fools, beggars, and mentally deficients....

I may as well laugh to keep from crying...

I made the same point on my blog (regarding original post) but when you state facts and the obvious you are called a bigot and foxnews watcher. I guess that means if you want to pretend that there's more crime and violence in black areas (big elephant in the room) then you must be open-minded and watch MSNBC.

Everybody knows that the majority of people in this town and others primarily move away from blacks. Thats a fact whether you believe it or not. And,like I always say...for you so quick to call people bigots....put your money where your mouth is and buy a house on Detroit Avenue.

In terms of fatalities it's like 1 in Iowa vs. 1800+ for Katrina.

And at some $90Billion, Katrina was the costliest natural disaster in US history. In an area that is known for poverty, that's not good.

But the Iowa flooding is still going. Would you like it to get worse?

I bet they'll be concerts and whatnot to raise money for flood victims. Slipknot is from there, so is Johnny Carson and Ashton Kutcher. Keep your knickerbockers on. Someone will call them high-waters.

Maybe someday, after we have all come to the realization that we have no ethical connection to what our great great grandfathers did to create or maintain slavery, we will wake up and turn our attentions to modern liberals, who are actually alive, and prosecute them for how they have exploited blacks, used them like human shields to gain power and poisoned several generations of blacks with a mindset of victimhood and a culture of being pitiful because they are owed something as opposed to being valuable because they truly contribute something.

For anyone with an IQ above room temperature, there is no doubt who the slave masters of the 21st century are: liberals.

Blade:

LAST night ISOH/IMPACT volunteers were slated to sort and package relief supplies collected for the victims of the recent flooding in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The first container is to leave the warehouse today or tomorrow via Craig Transport of Perrysburg, which has donated equipment and services.

Additional donations are still needed, including baby diapers, laundry detergent, and cleaning supplies, including brooms, mops, and buckets, masks and gloves, canned and nonperishable foods, and tarps, ropes, and large trash bags.

Or, you can send bank gift cards for groceries and building supplies or cash donations to help offset packaging and shipping costs. Contact ISOH/IMPACT at www.isohimpact.org; go to the office at 25182 West River Rd., Perrysburg, or call the offices at 419-878-8548

babbleman, how exactly do the liberal expolit "blacks"? I only hear the phrases "mindset of victimhood" and "culture of being pitiful because they are owed something" from frustrated conservatives. How do these phrases apply in reality?
