I am so glad they got that rabid urinator! Tell me just one problem TPD could be focusing on other than urinators. I, for one, am so glad that my tax dollars are going to stop this outrageous crime against urinals everywhere. (of course sacastic)
He's on tv, plaster his personal business everywhere while hundreds do the exact same thing everyday? Pee patrol? Heck, where was TPD when the soccer player from Joe e Brown park walked over to the children's playground, sat down, pulled his shorts away from his leg, and let his main vein drain right there at the playground? I bet little Johnny and Henrietta love to play in the smell of urine.
He had an incoming precipitation front... IN HIS PANTS.

Hey, maybe thats the type of thing that keeps them so busy it takes an hour and a half to respond when someone reports that their kidnapped 14 year old daughter is in a specified house.
Maybe the cops were moody because the donut shops were all closed.
JM as much as I find this a non-issue you are obviously over simplifying to make a point.
If someone was taking a whizz in your yard you would be applauding the TPD for citing them.
They can't just sit around waiting to solve the latest murder. And I am sure you understand that.
TPD's action here is not what's outrageous. The publicity given to this quasi-identifiable T.V personality by the local media to gain a rating edge over their competitors and ruining his career for a moment of indiscretion is unjustified.
If I saw someone taking a whiz in my yard I take the garden hose to em. :P
Just hope they dont step on the war surplus land mines I planted in my yard.

We've all been out having a good time and have done something stupid.
Its comical about the police, i think because way back when, we were hanging out in a parking lot next to the main event (way before it was the main event) and a guy we were with went up to the building to relive himself, the cops pulled up in a hurry and said "put your beers down and leave" so naturally being UNDERAGE and drinking BEER in public we took off strightaway while our frind was getting arrested for indecent exposure.
If Morrison had been blasting fireworks toward buildings, he would not have been bothered. To avoid arrest, you have to pick the correct illegal activity to engage in.
41 years old and pissing on someone's car, in public, then battling Police? And then what I assume to be his girlfriend/friend fights with the police to keep him from being arrested - and she's 37! I'd expect this behavior from 18 year olds!
And he pleads 'Not Guilty'? No sense of responsibility either. If you do the crime, admit it!
Sounds like it's time to give up the alcohol there, Mikey!

If urinating in public is the worst thing going on in the east side, I'd gladly welcome urinating in my yard. Unfortunately, I was driving through there 2 nights ago before dusk and seen 2 prostitutes, one guy sitting on his front porch smoking from a bong, a car with no plates driving around filled with kids, and at least 3 cases of neglected children.
I sure am glad we have our priorities straight. Could we maybe put together a jay-walking task force?
I was once in a small apartment building (6 units) visiting a friend, when the DEA stormed the apartment below us. There was like 6 DEA agents a bunch of TPD, drug sniffing dogs the whole mess. After about an hour I look out the back window and watch a DEA agent walk over to the side of the Garage and take a wiz. I was stunned, I mean we would have let them use the restroom in the apartment I was at, especially when you consider they had guns.
Good thing you said nothing to no one! Your door would have been the next one turned into kindling!

And, for the record, the 'resisting' could either be an M1 or M2 - M1 if Officer friendly is injured during the resisting. Public indecency and public intox are both M4's.
(For those of you out there that I've 'lost', M(for MIsdemeanor) is lower than a Felony, and the numbers are the 'levels' of the crime, with 4 being the lowest to 1 being the highest.)

That's the guy that tells you not to run when he's trying to arrest you. He does this because he doesn't want you to go to jail tired or to get all sweaty & stinky.

Much ado about nothing. He probably was out having a good time and got “caught” urinating outside. We have all been there done that I am sure.
