Last week a bunch of orange barrels (the skinny ones) appeared up and down the boulevards of Alexis Rd between Secor and Douglas. A few days later they were placed in the road, shutting it down for all but the two curb lanes.
But then nothing was done, and now all the barricades are off the road and back on the boulevards again.
Anybody know what's up with that?

Memorials for all the people who have died on the road, perhaps?
Maybe their building roundabout so teh RiteAids can have a building on all 5 corners.
Could it be that the city is going to put speed bumps on Alexis all the way from N. Detroit Avenue to Sylvania, Ohio?
It could be that they were working in the road, surveying, in manholes, etc. And now are not. It’s highly doubtful they set barrels out just for the aesthetic.
When I drove along Alexis Rd earlier this week from Douglas to Lewis, most if not all of the road was one lane going east. A lot of cones were set out. I finally saw a crew using a big cutter to slice the road for whatever reason.
