Batman finally falls-to a bunch of little-talent grating 'comedians'

But I guess something had to beat it out sooner or later.

I walked out of Tropic Thunder about an hour into it. Even Robert Downey couldn't save this POS.

I was surprised to see Rotten Tomatoes give Tropic Thunder an 84% rating.

I haven't seen the movie, but it didn't look all that great in the first place.

What morons are watching this crap? Is this like the #1 NY Times best seller list, where book publishers base the rankings on orders and not actual sales?
Are the studios buying up tickets to get some press?

Fantoys have been waiting for Tropic Thunder the whole summer thus the high RotT rating. Comedies with predictable jokes seem to do ayight. Tried and true. The target demographic of both Dark Knight and TropThun are teeniebopper anyway... that's who determines who is #1... if such diversions matter anyway.

The NYT has had Dianetics and a bunch of other garbage as #1 in the past. Quality and popularity are 2 different things.

I thought it was funny. It is for movies and Hollywood what Spinal Tap was to the music industry. Tom Cruise and Robert Downy Jr both were fantastic. Stillers character was a bit weak but its hard to parody yourself when your already a parody.
