Tux in Toledo

Not Linux Tux, but the formal wear for my fellow geeks :) Where do you all recommend renting or even buying a Tux.

The last time I had to rent one was a decade ago in WV and was from Sears. Would like to get something a bit nicer and authentic now lol.

Thanks for the tips in advance,
Josh

P.S. Also Limo service recommendations area also appreciated.

Thrift store or Fleabay. You can get a nice classic vintage one or a modern one on the cheap. They can tailor them at dry cleaners.

Conversion vans are more fun than limos, which are made for kids or little people. They don't have the whole limo aura, but they definitely are more comfy and functional. And shouldn't cost more than $100 for 24 hours.

If you want an affordable tux, I would check out Jos. A Bank at Levis Commons or the mall. They are always having sales, so don't pay full price. I would expect that you might be able to find one for sub-$250 and quite possibly under $200.

If this is for your wedding, don't skimp and rent one. Rented tuxedoes usually don't fit fit too well and can be filthy. Think about who rents tuxedoes: groomsmen and high school kids going to prom. God knows what the guy before you was doing in that outfit.

So either buy one or else just buy a new suit in charcoal or navy blue. Even if you don't wear a suit for work, you will use it again I am sure for other weddings or funerals.

My son was a ring bearer in a wedding recently...the wedding party used Men's Wearhouse (I think? Talmadge and Monroe, connected to the pet store? Remember the location, but drawing a blank on the name.)

Anyhow...they gave good service and the prices seemed reasonable.
