Libs Attack on Full Display!

On a 17 year old kid who's pregnant. I hope the drive-by liberal attack dogs go after her other kid, with the syndrome, too. Watch this bullshit blow up in their goddamed faces!

Not everyone can be as respectful and classy as John McCain...

http://www.salon.com/news/1998/06/25newsb.html

McCain -
"Why is Chelsea Clinton so ugly?
Because her father is Janet Reno."

Sorry - McCain and his supporters don't get the high ground in this.

McCain's joke is well-documented, and he later "apologized" for it.

And I feel bad for Bristol, but her story is resonating because it puts a human face on the absurdity of abstinence-only sex education. Sex is going to happen, even with kids of the ultra-right Christian conservative families. Teen pregnancy (and yes, abortion) are a huge problem, and the main cause is because they aren't taking precautions.

Yes, and all the google results list political blogs. You know, the ones that get their daily "talking points" from Howard Dean.

You want a more rightwing source sillywabbit? How about Newsmax?

http://archive.newsmax.com/archives/articles/2006/7/5/00548.shtml

But McCain must have found it not so nice when anonymous Bush supporters did "push polling" in 2000 against McCain in South Carolina, suggesting that McCain had fathered a black child out of wedlock:

http://bigheaddc.com/2007/10/31/cindy-mccain-bush-spread-rumors-that-john-fathered-black-child-out-of-wedlock/

BTW, I agree that the kid should be off limits. But Obama can't stop lefty bloggers from attacking Palin's kids anymore than Republicans could have stopped Rush Limbaugh from talking about "the White House dog" on his (short-lived) television show and then showing a picture of then 13 year old Chelsea Clinton.

See what happens when right wingnuts talk about Obama's kids.

Like mother, like daughter...

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/09/02/us/politics/02palin.html?_r=3&pagewanted=2&hp&oref=slogin&oref=slogin&oref=slogin

The Palins eloped on Aug. 29, 1988, and their first son, Track, was born eight months later, a fact that Maria Comella of the McCain campaign, declined to elaborate on. “They were high school sweethearts who got married and ended up having five beautiful children together,” Ms. Comella said.

Where are any facts showing Bristol Palin was raised with "abstinence only sex-education?" Where are any facts showing the Palin family are "ultra-right christian conservatives?"

Bristol Palin attended PUBLIC SCHOOL in Wasilla Alaska. That school district, just like any down in the lower 48, has a public curriculum on health and is not abstinence only.

As for the Chelsea joke - poor taste for a politician? Yes, but funny none the less. She grew out of her ugly duckling stage - some. Teen pregnancy and making political hay out of implying it indicates her mother is a hypocrite is a not analogous to a joke about Janet Reno.

This story about her pregnant kid is such a non-issue. I'm glad Obama has come out against this. Too bad the same courtesy would never be extended if the tables were turned.

If you need them, here are 100 REAL issues facing Palin.

I agree, the hypocrisy is much more relevant than attacking a young child for her looks. As for whether Chelsea grew out of her ugly duckling stage, I will concede that she isn't going to win Miss Universe, but she isn't breaking mirrors either....

The story as it pertains to the kid may be a non-issue.

But the story as it pertains to the parents, one of whom is a Vice-Presidential candidate, and to John McCain, is most certainly relevant.

If we are to believe the McCain camp, that they were told about this girls' pregnancy before deciding on the mother as a running mate, then we can make the extension that they had to know this subject would become internet-gossip show fodder, a source of jokes, innuendo and general overall trash-talk concerning the kid....and they picked Palin as the VP candidate anyway.

Perhaps Sarah Palin should have politely told McCain no, that its not worth dragging her daughter through the muck and mire that was bound to ensue once word of her condition came out.

But no, this woman, who already has a Down Syndrome kid, jumped at the opportunity, consequences to her family be damned.

The next time Sarah Palin's pictured with all her family on a rosy, feel-good magazine cover or featured in a politcal ad, we should all throw up.

McCaskey - I thought I was bad. Boy, you sure can make some arrogant, self-righteous asshole remarks.

Do you really believe that McCain or any other candidate in recent history made their veep choice over the course of a weekend or cup of coffee?

Politicians hire strategists years in advance to plan every step and contingency of their campaign. The only thing they don't plan in advance are the times they fuck up by making some off-color, knee jerk, reactionary remark.

Um, yeah, toots, that seems to be pretty much exactly what happened here:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26501863/

You see, McCain wanted either Lieberman or Romney, but at the last minute got pressured into 'shoring up the base', so instead you got Mom of the Year and the Jerry Springer Show that came along with her. She and McCain met exactly one time prior to being picked.

Anything else you need explained to ya, hon?

By the way, where's Sarah been since the big Friday announcement? No talking to the press, even maybe an exclusive with Fox News?

I'm guessing she's studying world maps, boning up on countries and their capitals.

As if MEN haven't been making those same type of choices of hundreds of years.
They are pulling this crap and saying this stuff because she's woman. If it were her husband no one would be asking these kinds of things and demanding tests to prove the babys parentage.

The whole thing is disgusting
