Forced PaternityTests for the Palins?

I heard some slug from the Washington Post is DEMANDING this? Anyone have a link-I really don't believe even the democrats would sink to this level. Sally Quinn is the alleged culprit.

COURIC: I mean, arent those legitimate criticisms, and dont they call into question the vetting process, which obviously you were a very important part of? But some people wonder, why are these kind of things coming out in kind of a drip, drip, drip fashion?

SCHMIDT: Well, lets talk about whats coming out. The fact that her husband had a DWI 24 years ago when he was 22 years old. Senator McCain thinks thats nonsense, thats not a disqualifier for a Vice President of the United States. We knew that her daughter was going to have a child. Senator McCain offered his love and support for their family. That doesnt disqualify this exceptional leader, and the American people, I think, will angrily reject it. Today, Katie, Ive been asked questions that are outrageous by the national media. Ive been asked questions about when her amniotic fluid started to leak with regard to her last birth. I was asked whether we would make the genetic tests available because she had a Downs Syndrome child. Members of this campaign went to off-the-record lunches with reporters today, and they were asked if she would do paternity tests to prove paternity for her last child. Smear after smear after smear, and its disgraceful, and its wrong, and the American people are going to reject it overwhelmingly when they see her tomorrow.

It's only a tactic of the left to try and piss off the Republicans as much as they possibly can in the hopes of getting a sound bite to play over and over again on MSNBC.

They are so scared of Palin's appeal to the general population that they are hoping to scare her out/off the ticket.

First off, this maternity test suggestion is ridiculous and disgusting. Anyone and everyone would agree. No one wants this. Second, here what Republicans really think of the Palin VP pick.

After a segment with NBC's Chuck Todd ended today, Republican consultant Mike Murphy and Wall Street Journal columnist Peggy Noonan were caught on a live mic ridiculing the choice of Sarah Palin.

"It's over," said Noonan, and then responded to a question of whether Palin is the most qualified Republican woman McCain could have chosen.

"The most qualified? No. I think they went for this — excuse me — political bullsh** about narratives," she said. "Every time Republicans do that ... because that's not where they live and it's not what they're good at and they blow it."

Murphy chimed in:

"The greatness of McCain is no cynicism, and this is cynical."

Peggy Noonan can't vote millions of times, though, she's merely another talking head. From everything I've seen all over the net, she's energized the republican base and many independents like no one since Ronnie himself.

Anyone trying to make something out of her husbands DUI from 22 years ago has GOT to be joking.

I have one word for them, Chappaquidik.

as i said before, whiel Palin's husband was getting this DUI, BHO was snorting coke. yet we don't hear anything about that. not sure whats sadder...that BHO get's the free pass from the media, or that these mindless drones comprising the "idiot vote" don't know about it.
