Wutthefuh Protester Syndrome

I am curious about something. Liberals, humor me for a minute here please. I'm serious.

I have searched and searched and what I have found is that the political protesters that are violent, paranoid, or just plain weird are all left wingers or liberals or whatever they want to be called. In my search for Right Wingnut protesters, I could not find any examples of violence or the weirdo factor. Do they exist? Are there examples out there on YouTube? Please let me know.

BTW- I don't count those freaks from that group that claims to be a Baptist church as political protesters (The Westboro Baptist Church) because they are NOT a Baptist church and are not Christian. Calling yourself something doesn't make it so.

So anyway, I am wondering if there are any normal protesters out there that are Liberals? Or is there some kind of uncontrollable riot mentality that takes over for these people? Why do I see so many freaking freaks?

You don't see any modern Republicans do any sort of mass protests at all, forget about violent ones. Modern American conservatives are too fat and happy.

But I disagree with the Republicans disavowing Westboro and anti-abortion clinic protestors. Who do you think those people vote for? Republicans or Democrats?

But if you want to take a more global approach, there are plenty of examples of right wing protests: fundamentalist Jewish settlers in the West Bank, nationalist organizations in Europe like the National Front in England, etc.

One source of nutty right-oriented protesters would be the anti-abortionists. They will yell, spit, pour blood, and sometimes go as far as bombing. In recent years their activities have been seriously curtailed, but they are still out there.

But, on the whole, the aggressive nuts do seem to favor the left side of the political spectrum...That may have a lot to do with age - liberals tend toward the younger side of the continuum, with the attendant lack of judgment and self control.

SillyWabbit--I hope this helps. If you're a right-winger, you're probably conservative. Being conservative means protecting the status quo. So, if you're protecting the status quo, what would you rebel against? Liberals seek change (at least on the political spectrum). Therefore, this tends to more protests and therefore--more crazy protesters.

Btw, don't tell me the right-wing "God hates fags" protesters aren't freak shows.

The prerequisites to being a conservative are a combination of hate, evil, greed beyond normal scope, intolerance, ignorance, hatred of science, disregard for the rights of others, and disregard for human life unless its to impose pregnancy. They fight for a phony culture of life when most aspects of their well tried deregulation have sickened and killed millions of Americans. So why does the church and state fight only to protect a microscopic fertilized egg? Because its free to do, gets a great emotional response from the poorly informed, and turns one American against another. That is the heart of the republicon platform.

I will agree with that there is alot of hate and it comes from both sides of the fence. Too bad it has to be that way. I really can't wait for all this political bullshit to be over with.

I think I made it pretty clear with my original posted comment. That Westboro group are the "god hates fags" freaks. I can't wait to see God throw those assbags into the barbecue pit. They will be first I'm sure.

I am not a "liberal".
I consider myself independent conservative.
I'm not rich by America's standards.
My family is not rich.
I will probably never be rich (and that's fine with me).
I hate greedy people.
I'm not racist. I wasn't raised racist.
I believe in God.
I believe that abortion is horrible and ruining us, but I still believe in Choice thru 1st trimester.
I love the environment.
I love animals.
I love astronomy.
I love free scientific discovery.

So, what does this make me? If you guys need a label, that's your prerogative.

When I choose a candidate I can't find one that fits every belief of mine, but I have to choose the one with whom I feel most comfortable.
