Do Local Theaters Offer Better Prices Mon-Fri?

I am thinking about going to the movies this week. My friend thinks we would get a better deal sometime Mon-Fri rather than the weekend. Is this true? We are both seniors. Any deals out there? We live the south end so look to Maumee, Perrysburg, and Waterville.

pretty sure the only lower prices you'll find are during matinee hours

I don't even know if matinees are better deals. I think the only discount rates are "twilight" shows around 5 or 6 pm.

Was about to repost that. Last night we went to see Eagle Eye for $6 a pop. Was a so-so movie. Though it's nice paying a cheaper price.

There is a drive-in on Navarre Ave in Oregon. Last time I checked you get to see 2 movies for $7 a person.

Might have gone up a little though. Believe it's open till the end of Oct.

There's always coupons in that Entertainment book, the phone book, or wherevs...

A lot of schools put on plays/musicals and whatnot... Classic stories that Hollywood rips off butchers adds some gratuitous yawning.

They might charge or you can get away with baking cookies or something for the cast.

Live stuff is way more charming, even when they mess up, but especially when they perform well.

jr might have all the more professional people performing.

American Psycho is allegedly being made into a musical. Hopefully Robocop will too. Or Dude, Where's My Car. Or Roadhouse.

Hopefully Roadhouse. Although it might be hard to recreate the throat ripping scene on stage.

sorry, charlatan, not everyone loves theatre over theater. ie. i prefer film vs. plays hands down.
