First Energy Putting its Hand in Your Wallet Again!

They already have huge profits, poor service, and we have some of the highest rates in the nation here. Just say no and let their CEOs suffer with having bonuses only in the hundreds of thousands this year instead of millions!

First Energy is considering a rate hite of 12 percent over 3 years, starting in 2009.

The public is invited to share concerns and opinions at two meetings being held on Thursday, Oct. 2.

12:30 p.m. -- One Government Center, Toledo

6:30 p.m. -- Gateway Middle School, Maumee

High utilities keep everyone happy. If by everyone you mean the rest of the world with lower utilities. They're doing this for the good of the global economy.
Those dag gone progressives.

Was there any word about charging us "market price" in 3 years???????? If renewable solar and wind can't increase our bill by more than 3%,, then why can coal and nukes raise it 15% and give us the highest bills in the state and high even in the nation? When the bankers to the bootleggers bought the utilities in Ohio because they were "sure things", they were more right than even they could have imagined. One million to Bush in the election and they delayed implementation of the clean air act on their coal plants for bush's 8 years.
