I wouldn't be surprised to see Sarah Palin working for Fox News sometime in the next couple years.

--After writing a book and pulling in some money for giving "folksy" college commencement speeches.

The colleges wouldn't risk decertification. Allowing Palin to speak would be risky and have no reward for the students. She could teach them to hate each other, use war as a first resort, sell out to oil,, or anyone, and play whack a mole with the red nukie button pointing at Iran. AFter all, invading Iraq didn't bring Jesus, she has to try Iran to destroy the world so Jesus will come back and save those 144k Jews. I'm told the truly brainwashed believe that they are Jews,, even though baptist or catholic etc. You see if you are faithful enough then you are the true Jews. Its so insane that it can only be religious. Under any other flag but "Gods", the practicioners would be round up and deprogrammed. Thats some looney shit.

IMO, Biden seems untrustworthy and Palin seems like a complete idiot. If I were voting dem or rep then I would default to presidential candidates for making a choice.

Walter Anthony,

You know you are right about the possibility of her working for Fox News in the next few years. I hadn't even thought of it.

"hateful lying Palin is horrible"

Kettle meet Pot.

Nice hate-fest you have going on here. Tell me, do you see anyone here that is against Obama calling him hateful names? Or do we just post documented facts and videos of him in action and let you decide for yourself.

You are all sad and pathetic bigots. Yes, bigots.

Ok, go ahead and spew some more hate losers. It's okay. It's only cyberspace so you won't be getting any of the foam on me that's coming out of your snarling mouths.

"Tell me, do you see anyone here that is against Obama calling him hateful names? "

In this thread? No...but there has been enough hate thrown both ways...and way to spew your hate for the above as well.

Anyway...I thought she did better than I thought she would. Overall a better debate than the first pres. debate...if you could call it that.

Actually, aside from prime (who everyone knows is way over the top) the posts have not been hate-filled. Oh, except yours Wabbit.

Fact is, Palin only did a little better than the Couric interview. The difference being that she avoided answering questions to which she had no answer and probably little understanding. That's not hate, that's just fact. Biden has been in the game a lot longer and knows his stuff, so he can talk on many more topics. A debate between the two cannot be held on even ground. That doesn't necessarily make him a better candidate, but he should outdebate her every time. The prevalence today of comments like "she did better than I thought she would" is a testament to that fact.

Wabbit - it's okay if you like Republicans and prime likes Democrats, but you two exhibit the same kind of visceral, gutter-level politics that moderate voters have come to hate. Do you really want to change this country for the better or do you just like stirring the pot and attempting to seem witty?

I thought this summed up the entire dynamics of the debate.

Although Ms. Palin name-dropped several times, presumably to show fluency in foreign affairs, she did not always drop the right name. At one point, she referred to the top American commander in Afghanistan, Gen. David D. McKiernan, as ?McClellan.?
Ms. Palin also tended to seize on a single point or phrase of Mr. Biden or the moderator, Gwen Ifill of PBS, and veer off on her own direction in her 90-second answer. Asked whether the poor economy would cause Mr. McCain to cut his spending plans, Ms. Palin picked up on Mr. Biden?s discussion of energy to criticize Mr. Obama?s positions on energy and talk about her fights against oil companies in Alaska.
In response to a question about her views on an exit strategy in Iraq, Ms. Palin championed Mr. McCain?s support for the ?surge? of American troops there; hailed ?a great American hero,? Gen. David H. Petraeus; and attacked Mr. Obama?s Senate vote against federal financing for troops in Iraq, which Mr. Biden also once criticized.
After that, Mr. Biden turned to the moderator and said, ?Gwen, with all due respect, I didn?t hear a plan.?
?Your plan is a white flag of surrender in Iraq,? Ms. Palin shot back. ?You guys opposed the surge, the surge works, Barack Obama still can?t admit that the surge works.? (Mr. Obama has said in recent weeks that the surge had worked beyond most people?s expectations.)

My response is to hate the repiglican party, I can't deny it. They have shit on the constitution and the country, laid open its treasures and looted them, destroyed 30 years of environmental law, torn the world apart with war, turned brother against brother with their constant spates of hate against democrats and independents, and judged us as not worthy of either representation under law or under God. I quickly learned to hate them back as an automatic response, knowing full well that hating hurts me more than it does them. They are destroying both the country and the world, and doing it in God's name while turning the U.S. into a true fascist Kleptocracy. I love that word, it fits our current corporate rule so well. Tell the grandkids to quit playing with their toys and get a job, they have a lot of debt to assume, both from war and outright theft by our leaders.

Oh,, and Palin is so G.D. stupid she could have played a role in the movie "Idiocracy", which is our childrens destiny under a repiglican president. Its a funny movie though, check it out when bored.

No thanks. Sounded to me like you were describing the eight long years under The Clintons there in the previous post. I have only hated two presidents rabidly-The Clintons (two-fer), and Nixon. DISLIKED Kennedy and Reagan.

posted by Darkseid on Oct 03, 2008 at 06:01:44 pm     #

The eight years of the clintons were the most profitable for me, and probably for you, in my lifetime. We weren't then stupid enough to engage in intractable wars,,, for oil and occupation. I thought Reagan was a liar from the get, I KNEW that trickle down was lying bullshit, deregulation was really a license to kill and steal. Bush 1 was a continuation of the lies, Bush 2 the terrible end point of a party that embraces corruption of laws that protect Americans as "deregulation" , and preach to all for three decades now that deregulation and the free markets will decide everything. Well, since first energy handed bush a million dollars to get the clean air act rolled back for coal power plants, about 20,000 or so Americans die per year as a result. Thats mass murder for payola. Then there's the little matter of todays financial bailout of theiveing bankers. It would only take $150 billion to buy the houses and let the banks fall on their corrupt greedy faces.

My totally blind Mother under pigshit Reagan got her letter from social security letting her know that his highness had "redefined" blindness and that she had to go in to see if they could find a job for her. I'll never forget the look on her face as I read the letter. Reagan should be dug up and jailed for his crimes, preferably in the same cell as bush and bush, greenspan and paulson, and McCains economic advisor Graham. I'd say throw in the banking wall street crooks but they would stink far worse than the corpse.

Other than all that I think they are fine people.

Yeah, that's always the way it was with the Clintons-I remember when they ran for re-election-the general attitude was to ignore every sleazy thing the swine had ever done and say "Ah, what the hell...I'm workin'". Actually, I did the worst I ever did in my entire life financially under the Clintons-made the most money under Nixon, Carter, Reagan, and Bushie (present prez).

Perjury? The perjury was a political hack. The world laughed at the United States for the mulit multi million dollar witch hunt over a guy getting a blow job. A little issue that his wife knew about. How many republicans I wonder would lie about their extramarital sex, and I doubt that it would be our business. The only time politicians sex lives should be important is when they condemn the homosexuality of others while they have sex with young boy interns and strangers in airport bathrooms.

Yep, keep repeating your MOTHER-FUCKING LIE until you die-"It was only about a blow job"-but that'll NEVER make it TRUE. THE FUCKING BASTARD LIED TO A GRAND JURY UNDER OATH-the very one who's supposed to uphold the highest laws of the land. He was no better than Nixon, yet you God-damned kool-aid drinkers give him a pass. And the only reason the dyke-er...Hillary-stayed married to him (they haven't lived together for who knows how long-that's never even hinted at let alone talked about by the media, either-because they are cRATS)was to try to get an end run around the Constitution and get in power again-THANK GOD it didn't work-Ears Obama deserves a medal for saving the country from 8 more years. Fuck The Clintons. If either of them were to die before I do, I'd throw a party. They're the ones who began to divide this country with hatred and pitting groups against each other LONG before Bush-culminating in the 2000 election, which they've (you've) never gotten over.

Just like that 'great statesman', Bob "sheets" Byrd (former Grand Wizard)

posted by Darkseid on Oct 04, 2008 at 06:01:45 pm     #

Nixon's crime was against the people and the constitution, like bush's, and like McCain and Palin's clear intent.

Clintons crime was with his dick, it could be a mighty one, but it didn't plunge America into an eternal war against a couple of billion people with the total and complete eradication of the rights Americans died for.

I am failing to see any logic in your responses and they seem to be degrading into your waxing bills johnson.

Wallace wasn't a democrat I liked, I booed him and gave him the finger, and called him an "Alabama Pig" as he rode by, similar to the way I greeted the fascist Bosh.

But look how Byrd has evolved, I think he was nearly alone in fighting against the revocation of the constitution and bill of rights, while those who didn't care about liberty revoked it for all of us in the name of a false security. 911 was allowed to happen. Just look at the 45 degree angle the beams were sheered at. You do that with beam cutting explosives, not with jet fuel, not with an airplane.

The party of racism today is the republican party, country club racists are gleefully accepted in and the policies of repiglicanism actually discriminate against all Americans except the top 10% of rich guys. So the only place where true racism feels welcome is in the republican party , you should know that.

Now Condi is a fine token, her blackness only overcome by her long dedication as an oil tar covered oil executive.

Your whole party is a lie and represents many real acts of treason. Lets see whats worse,, duhhh,, is it treason or a b.j.? 911 was your leaders concocted excuse to revoke the constitution and engage in wars for corporations. Can you think of a bigger crime. Building 7 was blown up too, because it contained all the evidence against GW and friends for their role in the Enron scams that fleeced America. Tell me, did GW's brother hold the security contract for the entire world trade center complex on 911? Did the PNAC report not call for a "pearl harbor type event" to create support for the invasion of Iraq? Why did the republican controlled government refuse to report the residue of beam cutting incendiary devices found in all three buildings that fell?

You go ahead and keep hating clinton and the Americans who liked the guy, and keep supporting the guys who are destroying America to line their own pockets. Remember, GW's infamous words, "The constitution is just a G. D. piece of paper".

More on 911

The explosive was as I recall a branded version of thermite, if you put a cup of it on the hood of your car and light it off, it will burn through the hood, and also completely through your engine block and come out the bottom of the engine and fall on the ground still burning.
They used way too much of it and failed to consider it would pool at the bases of the beams at ground level and below. The thermite burns through the beam, then a plastic charge kicks the beam outward at the break.

The political appointee that bush put in charge of U.S. EPA , told the firemen and citizens that the air was safe on/after 911, and years after they were exposed to multiple deadly poisons in the air, the administration still treats them like shit. Every human, those great firemen in their heroism included, cry out for justice.

The guy who leased the towers made billions in insurance after only having leased the towers for a matter of months. It should be investigated as to just what strings were pulled for him to lease the towers.
Who put together or enhanced the deal, who are his pals.

I'm sure all recall the FBI supervisor who was screaming to anyone who would listen that there were terrorists in U.S. flight schools who didn't want to know how to land the jetliners they were flying on simulators. These creeps were allowed to continue, while someone wired the 3 buildings with a really large amount of thermite and plastic. Then they waited for the right day to hit the detonators.

Prior to the impacts by one week, one of the towers was shut down, power turned off for the weekend on a building that is essentially a massively big wall street data center with a high usage level and massive responsibility to stay up and running. With only one week notice???? That short notice would never happen in a massive data center environment of so much import to the country and the world's financial systems. The tower was shut down, to plant the remaining charges in a larger faster hurry up effort to meet the hijackers planned attack day.

Cheney's letter to Clinton in the 90's called for the invasion of Iraq. The PNAC report cited that a "pearl harbor type event" was need to justify the invasion of Iraq. Bush's brother held the security company contract for the WTC complex on 911. The Enron investigators work was all in building 7 which was also brought down by thermite and plastic. An independent physicist has determined the presence of thermite at the base of the towers, even naming the brand of thermite. The 911 commission report won't mention the thermite and considers that the money sent to the hijackers is not important, and neither is the identity of the sender.

Bush refused absolutely to meet with the nations foremost terrorist export prior to 911 who was trying to explain the urgency of the warnings he was getting,, that Bin Laden intended to attack the U.S. with airplanes. So Bush went on a month long vacation, having refused to meet with our terror expert for 9 months.

Multiple dependable intelligence agencies from around the world warned the U.S. government of the attack in advance. There was no failure of intelligence in the U.S. They reported and followed orders. It wasn't a false flag attack done by our government, it was a terrorist attack that was allowed by , and even needed by our top leadership to justify the invasion of Iraq for oil and to stop Iraq from its insistence in trading its oil for Euro dollars instead of U.S. dollars. But more, Hunt Oil perhaps wanted a piece of Iran, Exxon too, and of course Cheney wanted his pipeline and his Haliburton to profit.

I keep waiting for guys like you Dark, to wake up, to do the homework that is your responsibility as a citizen. None of your homework requirement will be meet by watching Fox "news", as it is the official mouthpiece of the propaganda machine for a bunch of traitors.

The phony war has cost us trillions, and the latest financial scam they cast will cost us an equal amount of trillions. But if the derivatives pyramid scheme topples, the country will be shut down to the tune of about 400 trillion.

Someone said that dissent is the highest form of patriotism and that the price of freedom is eternal vigilance. Unfortunately we have forgotten to look inward with regard to the vigilance thing.

So we ended up in a couple of wars over it, and your McSame and nutcase zealot Palin want those wars to last forever. McCain-Palin will of course bomb Iran to see if it makes jesus come back to earth,, and so they can just maybe get their toes dipped in some of that crude oil. So yeah, McCain and Palin will be how good for America Dark.
