Toledo (1-4, 1-1) lost its third straight home game for the first time in 15 years and was shut out by a MAC opponent for the first time since 1985. The Rockets managed just 157 yards of total offense, rushing for 14 yards on 19 attempts.
And UT yet still hasn't fired him? This guy is a joke of a coach, he can't keep his players in line, he can't recruit worth a damn...yet they keep him? Maybe I'm spoiled from going to a BCS school when they had a crappy coach, and woke up and fire him and landed who they have now that marked his 102nd win in just 10 seasons (this being his 10th).
Wake up...fire him...and bring in one of the amazing assistants these BCS schools have. Amstutz was lucky and got to win with Pinkel's players for a few years, but since they Toledo has sucked. There is no excuse UT can't do better, get the hell out of the MAC, and start pushing some of these cupcakes around - instead of being one.

He is one of the best they have had. He brought some success to the program as recent as 2001-2004, and, unlike THE SOONERS (beat Texas!) football is not a multi-million dollar source of revenue for UT.
Ball state is probably the best team in the MAC, Fresno State (ranked at the time) was a miracle and UT played above their talent, and well Florida Intl. -- WOW.
