other than something like tony packos, which you really can't get outside of the region,
what other restaurants or types of food do you find distinctly toledo?
if the food network were doing a toledo feature, what do you think they would talk about?

I think a great untapped resource is found in the Indian and Med type foods. The spices and quality of food are generally better than the chinese grown crap we eat. The Indian food has some spices that are really good for you, and places like the Toledo Market have very authentic Med foods at reasonable prices. You can buy Greek Oregano on the stick, bulk green tea, a wide selection of olive oil by the gallon(nearly) and an Indian food section. Also a place to sit down and enjoy the chefs daily feast toward the back of the store. There are a lots and lots of foods there that are hard to find.
