Anyone have any info on the botanical gardens in Elmore? I saw a flyer this morning briefly that had a beautiful picture of the place, though I didn't find any more information.

If you're looking for a quiet afternoon walking thru some nature, by all means, go! Theyre gorgeous - and VERY easy to get to:
Take the 'Pike to the Elmore exit. The toll booth road will take you to the main road where you go right for just a little ways 1/4-1/2mile, I'd guess. Then take a left and you're right there!
Bring a camera, and with the weather lately? I'd bring a cooler full of water and damp washrags...
A friend of the family married his wonderful wife there at the Schedel Gardens. I LOVE the Japanese garden...so beautiful. Our daughter (who was 3 at the time) loved running around the flowers!

Here is a link, its a great place, for a small fee you can tour the gardens which are very nice, or the house (which as I understand has a very large Jade collection) I've never toured the house but shoot pictures at the gardens 3-4 times a year.
