Casino Themed Party Help

I am hosting a themed birthday party. And can not locate a roulette wheel. Does anyone have any ideas where to purchase the game (cheaply of course) or have one that I can borrow for next weekend?

Any information would be very helpful.

Thanks Angie

I had to rent one once for an event...can't recall the name of the place, but it was on Sylvania Avenue in the DeVeaux area.

The store had party supplies, possibly costume rentals (can't recall?), and they also had an assortment of casino equipment including the roulette wheel.

Hopefully you can locate the place either by someone else being able to give you the name, or else by driving along that stretch of Sylvania??

Would that be Star Costumes?

About 15 years ago, I rented a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle costume from there for a work children's Christmas party. I survived until the very end when some brat jumped me from behind and was hanging from the top edge of my shell, which started strangling me. I think I was Raphael.

Jr- it might have been. I honestly can't recall the name. The map you posted is in the right area, so it might be the same place.

Also Angie, you may want to find out where some of the local Catholic churches get their roulette wheels for festivals. If they rent them, I'm sure they'd be happy to tell you what rental company they use.

(If memory serves me correctly, that's how I found out about the company I originally used - a co-worker referred me there b/c their church used them to rent festival equipment.)

I'm afraid I'm going to have to vote this one down. Try again in a couple years.

Seems like some random thing a department store like Kohls or JC Penney would have or Spencer's.

mom2 may mean Central Distributors. They are on Sylvania right down the street from where Star Costumes was. They have party supplies and stuff like that. Their phone is 419-427-6867. You might also try American Display. I had to do a corporate event a few years ago and rented a ton of Tiki themed stuff from them. They may have the roulette wheel. Google still list them downtown on Ontario but I believe they moved. Their number is 419-242-2642.

Finally, there is Seaway Displays on Byrne, just north of Airport. They have been there for years. Phone is 419-385-5357. Hope this helps and good luck!

You're probably right.

I remember there were 2 companies not too far from each other that appeared to rent party supplies, etc...when I went to pick up my rentals, I accidentally pulled into the wrong parking lot first. If ToledoLatina called Star Costumes and it wasn't them, then it must be Central Distributors.

Thank you all for your help. Rite Aid actually advertised a cheaper version for $5. Since its not a big flashy shindig, I think I'm going el cheapo. Thanks again for all your help.

I have one last request for this party. I have asked friends, freecycle, posted on Craigslist and to no avail. Would anyone that post on here, have an Elvis halloween costume that they do not need or will allow me to borrow for the party on this Saturday? Please let me know asap. I can not afford to rent one so that is out of the question.

Thanks for reading one last time,
Angie
