Me and the mister are going. We like this "garbage"-"turd". Apparently he's hitting right on your sore spots. Good! Next thing you know you'll be calling him a slut.

Not a bad show and not a great show, the Left version of Limbaugh. 90% BS but 10% decent coverage.

Would you go if Sergeant Schultz offered free Mountain Dew?

Isn't that the truck they used to take over Nakatome Plaza in "Die Hard"?

J.R., they do not have enough free Mountain or anything else free to get me to listen to the B.S. that Mr. Ed spews from that fat pie hole of his.

What progress are they driving? If what we have had in the last 2 years is progress then your more than welcome to it.

I bet you willingly consume the red Kool-Aid and "liquid that is almost, but not quite, entirely unlike tea" by the barrel.

But you don't consume Kool-Aid of the left, do you? You are completely non-partisan, even-tempered, and willing to give conservative ideas a fair evaluation. Most of all you never use personal attacks, thinly veiled sexual innuendo, or shout to talk about issues of the day, correct?

HA HA AHAHAAHAHHAHHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I prefer a Glen Livet on the rocks as opposed to kool-aid or tea.The Scotch allows me to stomach the B.S. that is spewed out by the likes of Ed Schultz and his comrades at MSNBC.

Oldhometown says it all he doesn't live here like most of the Speedy news staff who live in Columbus or south of the Mason Dixon line Virginia. No local news just the astroturf BS from well funded bull shit right wing thinktanks filling the low information WBSPD listeners with thoughts of hate laced sugar plums dancing in their empty heads.

If Ed came within 10 feet of Clear Channel or WSPD he would probably explode eh Paul?

I have no idea what wolfman just attributed to me. Perhaps because I can write in complete, accurate sentences. Who is he who doesn't live here? Me? Brian Wilson? I'm saying it all? What?

If anybody can decipher this, please post below...

Meantime, for Wolfman...again.

1.) Find investors
2.) Purchase radio station
3.) Program the "antidote" to WSPD or whatever you want

There is a simple solution for those of you that don't like clear channels programming.Just change the station you idiots!I don't like country music or MSNBC,so all I do is not tune it in.I don't go around trying to have it eliminated from the airwaves. No,you would rather censor those that don't agree with your agenda. If you don't like what someone airs on the radio or T.V. then don't listen or watch it!

Gee, let me guess. "Ed" disagrees with everything the other two political parties are doing. Just as "Rush" disagrees with everything the democrats are doing. Blah, blah, blah.

So people align themselves with a political party to the point that they will argue and even fight about it, but no one stands up and demands that politicians are screwing every one of us.

The career politicians are the enemy, not the "other" parties.

No we would like a choice in the AM band. Currently right wing drivel permeates the AM band width. Any alternative is a weak signal and not local. ClearChannel owns most of Toledo's market share. I've asked ClearChannel for some diversity but still nothing is being offered. Toledoans are subjected to hate 24/7 with no alternative for those who enjoy AM radio and a internet connection is not always available.

I was surprised to find out that all the time Ed Schultz was glorifying unions he was receiving big bucks from them and not disclosing it.

This is not a knock on unions. I have been in a number of them. I do not however think these actions by Schultz are the least bit ethical.

My question is posed to the members of this noard who held him up as the poster child and put him on a pedestal as such a straight shooter who tells it like it is.

Are you ok with him doing this?

Put aside his political beliefs, are you ok with him secretly taking big bucks and giving his donors such positive air time? Sound quid pro quo to me and stinks to high heaven.

Oops, forgot to post a link to the story - it is just one link of many, so please don't attack the source rather than address the issue:

I bet we won't hear a thing about this incident on any of the major news networks. It is a non issue to them when any of their liberal buddies do anything shady.

http://freebeacon.com/ed-schultz-defends-union-money/

Ed puts it to bed...

In addition to advertising contracts, the documents show that I have received money for giving speeches to union groups and other organizations. The policy at MSNBC is any speech must get prior approval and any honorarium must be donated to charity of the speaker’s choice. I choose last year that all the money go to the American Cancer Society for the great work they do, and I have friends in that organization as well, and I will continue to do so.

Go read the entire thing...

Nope AC, I would feel the same way about anyone who commands regular time on the airwaves. They need to be clean and upfront about their associations with other groups.

Limbaugh is very upfront about his conservative leanings and how he favors the Republican Party. Bill Maher is the same way about how he feels about the Democrats. Love or hate either of them, they are honest about where they are coming from.

Schultz secretly takes scads of money from unions and then shills for them in his rants without disclosing how he received "tribute" from them.

He's spinning it to say that it went to charity. That's sweet and kind and I suppose it will cause rainbows and butterflies to emerge when he speaks. BTW - What happens when he donates this to charity? Does he write the donation off on his taxes so he pays less? Not that it makes a difference in the ethical misstep he made, but just a question that popped in my mind.

Bill Maher is an Anti-Religion Libertarian. He regularly destroys Democrats on his show. He’s just scared shitless by the current crop of Religious Republicans pushing their dogma that are running for the Presidency. So he gave a pro-Obama super pac $1 million to help top keep Republicans getting elected…

How is Ed Schultz not honest where he’s coming from? Has he not always been a big union supporter? The bulk of his “union money” is paid for speaking fees which he intern gives to charity. Guys like Rush (or Romney or Palin) make WAY more money from their speaking fees and they don’t turn around and give it charity.

Don't forget, Governor Palin makes more than Sgt. Schlitz does, too.
