Here We Go Again - AGAIN!

Maumee police looking into allegations of racial profiling

Well, here we go AGAIN!

Damn white police officers picking on black...er...African American folks yet again! At least, unlike Lima, no one was killed!

Seems that in our neighboring city of Maumee, the lady pulled an illegal turn (which she admitted to) and Officer Friendly pulled her over. Upon running the driver history, Officer Friendly discovers she's driving with a suspended license! When told that procedure states her car will have to be impounded, she becomes irate (as would anyone), and asks Officer Friendly what she's supposed to do with her kids (an 18 year old and 2-11 year olds).

Even though the driver knew she was driving illegally (without a valid license), with other people in the vehicle (and her responsibility), it should now become the responsibility - the duty - of the Maumee Police to hire a personal limo to deliver her beloved children to their home or other destination of the drivers choice!

The white Officer had the nerve to pull this poor women over for the sole reason of racial profiling! DAMN! had a white person made that same illegal turn in front of Officer Friendly, they would have no doubt been let go - ignored. Maybe Officer Friendly would have at first pulled a white over, then, after noticing the driver was white, would have said to himself (or herself) "Oh shit! The driver is white! What the hell am I doing?"

Had Officer Friendly been bold enough to run whitey's license and discovered they were driving without a valid license, Officer Friendly would have done 1 of 2 things: (1) Not cite the driver and not tow the vehicle because they were white or (2) cite the driver, have the vehicle towed, and ordered up and paid for a cab for the driver's unfortunate family and friends to the destination of their choice - even though those in the vehicle were the responsibility of the driver!

It's all about the black/white thing! When will the police departments learn that no matter what that black...err African American has done - allegedly done - that they are doing nothing but racial profiling and it must stop!

I urge all police departments nation-wide to only use Officers of the same color, same sex and same age group to effect arrests of the citizenry! There should be no arrests of Mexicans by white or black Officers; no arrests of Italian woman by Mexican male Officers, and in short, the Police must stop enforcing laws against those 'people of color'.
