Game On! Street hockey practice/pick up game Sunday At 1pm

Looks like the weather will co-operate with us for the very first street hockey pickup game. See you at 1pm. I have one 4' × 6' net and goalie equipment. From the response I got, we should have a decent group and hopefully the ones that said they'll be there will bring enough for a game. See you there Sunday!

Sunday March 30, 2008 at 1pm. At Woodrow Wilson Park. The address is 600 E Oakland Street Toledo 43608. It's pretty easy to find and it has 2 places we could play. One looks like it is set up for street hockey but might be a little small, and the other is a fenced in tennis court. There are two courts side by side so we'll have to watch out for the poles, but for a first pick up game, we should be ok.

This is a street hockey pickup game. No checking, no skates. I recommend shin pads and gloves as a minimum. Should have elbow pads and helmets. We'll be playing with a street hockey ball. If you want to bring a net, ball, or extra equipment please do.

If the weather looks bad I'll post a cancellation by Saturday the 29. Help spread the word. Even if you've never played before but are interested, show up. I know I'm rusty so I won't be at my best.
