Stock market crash - any local banks in danger?

I guess I am not as concerned about the possibility of a bank failure here locally since I am way under the FDIC limits, but is anyone else thinking that it might be safer to stuff it all in the mattress and wait it out? I'd be interested to hear from local banks this week if they are seeing folks panic yet. I was at three local banks this afternoon and all seemed calm.
