Our mild weather continues for December. At 6:00 p.m. on Dec 22, 2006, the Toledo temp is 50. The high temp today was in the mid-50's. It's been rainy the past 24 hours. We've had a lot of days this month with daytime temps in the 40's and 50's and lows in the 30's. The record low today was -19 in 1989. Here's a Toledo Talk posting from Dec 22, 2004 that was about the forecast for a snowstorm for Toledo. We ended up getting about 9 inches of snow on Dec 22/23, 2004 and temps late on the 24th dropped to about minus 10. December last year was snowy for Toledo. We had 20 inches of snow for the month of December 2005. It was cold last December too. The snow started to melt just after Christmas, and by early January of 2006, the snow was gone, and we didn't get much more the rest of the season. So last year, our winter was in December.
