Article source for : Is TPS Spreading Out?

I went to vote at the Boys and Girls Club at the Aurora L. Gonzalez Center off of South Avenue (near the fire station there) about noon. As I went into the gymnasium two young girls (one maybe 8 and one maybe 10 or 11) at a table asked me if I wanted to buy some chocolate "buckeyes". I said after I come out.

I voted, and as I came out I stopped and bought a couple of plastic packages (3 buckeyes/$1.00). I asked them if they had gotten out of school, and they pointed across the hall-way to a room. In the room I saw about a dozen kids (in my view) who were spread out with maybe a desk between each kid. I asked if they were in a "charter school", and they looked confused, and said they were in a school. Their teacher (a rather good-looking young man) came out, probably to check on a middle-aged man talking to his students. I asked him if it was a "charter school", and he said it was a TPS school for kids with behavior problems. I then asked him if they were doing well, and he said that they were having "some success". Most of the kids seemed to be girls (there may have been a boy or two). I didn't go in the class-room so I didn't see all the kids. Anyone know anything about this? What school are these kids connected to. I know most of the kids in the area now go to Marshall, and I think there is another school on Broadway across from Danny Thomas Park. How many kids are in a class-room now? It seemed like there were only a dozen kids in the class-room from where I stood.
